From pipe and valves to fire hydrants and irrigation equipment, Corix Water Products serves our customers out of our branch location in Santa Maria, California. Our clients include municipalities, golf courses, contractors, farmers and industrial users. We only require a regular driver's license.
Responsibilities:
- Review and fills daily work orders and prepares for distribution of customer shipments.
- Pull stock as indicated and prepares for customer delivery. Packs materials
- Receive new parts/materials other equipment, marks them with identifying information and stores materials in designated area.
- Count and record (performs data entry) amounts of received stock into inventory software. Record the number of items distributed into NAV software.
- Operate fork lift and/or hand truck to transport stored items or received shipments.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
- Safely drive product to customer site.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous truck driving/warehouse/delivery experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read, write, and follow and complete written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills, data entry skills. Ability to use a keyboard and computer screen to enter and retrieve data
- Verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Strong basic math skills for counting inventory
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- Ability to drive a forklift preferred.
- Customer service ability.

Work Context/Mental Demands/Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to perform physical duties such as lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, climbing (heights), standing, and walking, loading and unloading materials. Also operates forklift and pallet truck and uses a ladder.
This position requires driving; must be able to sit for long periods of time and climb in and out van/panel truck. Will be exposed to road and weather hazards. Must wear all safety equipment as required at Corix site and on costumer site when delivery materials. Must remain OSHA compliant and follow all California and DOT regulations. This position requires working indoors in a warehouse environment standing on concrete floor. Also requires working outside to store large materials; exposed to high heat, cold, rain and other weather conditions.
