You are an electrical engineer, design or field, with an electric utility or consultant for an electric utility. You are ready for the challenge of interfacing with the Customers of a leading supplier of innovative high quality distribution protection and distribution controller solutions and Customer service for the power electrical industry. You desire a leadership position with a team of Creative Technical Solution (CTS) professionals.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong written and verbal communications skills. You will be responsible for the application of the company's products and systems related to protective relaying of distribution feeders (including recloser controls), transformers, distribution automation controllers for load tapchanger transformers, voltage regulators and line capacitors, and distributed energy resource interconnection. You will provide technical services to customers in support of the application, use, and maintenance of the above products and systems and lead/train CTS associates to increase their effectiveness and professionalism.
You have sound background in utility distribution P&C and fluency in P&C scheme documentation: 1-lines, 3-lines, logic and elementary diagrams. Qualifications include ability to calculate protection settings, use Industry standard secondary injection test equipment and knowledge of digital communications as applied in utility P&C applications (DNP, IEC-61850, MODBUS). BSEE with 10+ years of relevant experience or AAS and 20+ years of relevant experience is required. A PE is highly desirable.
