AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer for employment in the Franklin, TN office
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
- Water Quality Permit applications
- Provide EPSC Inspection services
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and other related fields
- 2+ years of experience
- Working knowledge and familiarity with roadway construction plans is a requirement
- Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be organized and detail oriented
- Interest in environmental permitting on transportation projects
- Understanding of engineering principles
- Willingness to travel (if and when required)
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Basic knowledge of some industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Have or be in the process of obtaining one of the following: Professional Engineer (PE), or a person that successfully completed the TDEC Level II course, or a CPESC
- Previous experience with Environmental Permitting and preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
- working knowledge of the General National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for Discharges of Stormwater associated with Construction Activities (CGP) TNR 100000.
- Some working familiarity TDOT
