The Project Manager is responsible for project management of the Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) and Thermal Imaging (TI) Infrared Red (IR) camera pre-installation configuration, materials, preparation, and Scope of Work (SOW) requirements to ensure a successful outcome.  This individual will work directly with the customer/end-user and with internal cross-functional teams which include Sales, Product Management, Applications Engineering and Manufacturing. 

Reports to:  Director, Field Service        


  • Receive incoming configuration requirements from Sales and Application Engineering to validate and scope implementation
  • Scope project to determine implementation deliverables.
  • Generate Scope of Work (SOW) documents
  • Determine if any non-standard material is required to complete the installation
  • Verify and document customer material requirements
  • Outline project plans for pre-installation requirements including projecting start dates
  • Collaborate with technical cross functional teams to ensure that the project goals meet customer expectations and objectives
  • Lead initiatives to improve execution of projects
  • Develop, communicate and document project deliverables, status and plans 
  • Provide input on schedule and resource requirements
  • Collaborate with the installation and technical teams on technical decisions
  • Build and maintain working relationships with external and internal customers and suppliers
  • Travel up to 30%


  • 3 to 5 years Project Management experience
  • Worked on projects that involved integration and installation at customer sites
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on complex projects
  • Strong working relationship with customers and partners
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Good computer and systems knowledge (MS Office)
  • Experience working in the power distribution, transmission, and petrochemical industry preferred


  • Bachelor degree in either electronic or mechanical engineering
