We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to support manufacturing for state-of-the-art electronic instruments and electro-mechanical devices and systems. This position will be responsible for assembling products to specifications using hand tools.
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Support sub-assembly or process for a multitude of devices and peripheral tools
- Meet high quality requirements, production schedules, and productivity standards
- Perform assembly tasks utilizing various electric power and or hand tools
- Adherence to applicable Manufacturing Assembly Instructions (MAIs) and Standard operating procedures (SOPs)of the quality system as well as the manufacturing guidelines
- Complete other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Required
- 3+ years working with mechanical assembly in manufacturing operations environment
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S discipline
- Working knowledge of ESD requirements and assembly of electronic components
- Good hand and eye dexterity and coordination
- Good communication skills, including written and verbal
- Availability to extended regular work hours
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Exposure to college level courses is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use small handled tools using repetitive hand movement for an entire shift or long periods of time
- Hand dexterity and ability to work with small component assembly
- Frequently standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms
- Bending and stooping occasionally
