Works with functional process owners to translate and prioritize requirements to define, build and maintain Industrial Finance Leasing's future platform. Responsible for day-to-day technical ownership of key applications (Supertrump) and development teams within the Industrial Finance ecosystem. Responsible for Risk, Compliance & Pricing products and projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications.
  • Together with architect & stakeholders, determines which business requirements will be automated and how they are integrated with other business and technical processes.
  • Liaison with shared GE application teams and software vendors to deliver high quality products.
  • Interacts with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products.
  • Shows increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
  • Routinely collaborates with UX Design to know customers and understand behaviors.
  • Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and demonstrates ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing.
  • Prioritizes continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
  • Engages development teams to effectively deliver solutions to address these problems and needs.
  • Collaborates with user communities to verify solution delivery from development teams.
Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or 4 years equivalent work experience) with 2+ years IT experience (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong Technical experience in working with development teams and architecting technical solutions and interfaces.
  • Experience with one or more scripting/coding languages like C#/VB.NET, Java etc
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases like, SQL Server, Oracle etc. Eligibility Qualifications:

Desired Characteristics:

  • Exposure to leasing applications or financial applications/ERP, in particular lease financing originations
  • Ability to break down development problems, architect or develop Proof of Concept solutions.
  • Ability to analyze business processes to suggest process improvements and develop solutions around them.
  • Ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary
