Main Job Responsibilities Include:
- Ability to operate 30-ton mobile crane
- Perform daily pre-work inspections on crane inspecting for any potential safety issues
- Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects such as pipe spools
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in the above job functions to assure meeting customer quality and delivery requirements.
- Ensure a neat/clean work environment by cleaning work areas and discarding materials in the proper manner
- Willingness to be cross-trained and learn other jobs in the area
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum three years of crane operating experience
- Valid driver's license required for crane operator
Additional Qualifications:
- Certified NCCCO Mobile Crane Operator
- Ability to read, and write documents, reports and general correspondence in English.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel and crouch
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced environment
- Ability to work, function and participate in a team environment
- PC literacy
- SAP knowledge and experience would be an added advantage
- Possess own transportation
- Ability to work at heights reaching up to 25 feet
