Description
You will be doing business development in a technical sales role responsible for preliminary project design and planning, estimating, customer demonstrations, and customer proposal development working under direct supervision of a sales team leader and/or sales manager.

You will cultivate new business in conjunction with customers/partners

  • Educate our customers/partners on all Schneider Electric Building Automation Systems,  Security Systems and field devices.
  • Call on and build relationships with new and existing customers, contractors,  engineering and architectural firms.
  •  Act as a liaison between Branch Office staff and customers/partners.
  • Initiate sales process, pre-qualify customers/partners and coach sales through to order.
  • Preparation of sales proposals, estimates and take offs.
  • Lead and/or participate in sales presentations.
  • Process and analyze feasibility assessments and/or all bid documents.
  • Obtain, assemble, and organize all project documentation to turnover to operations.
  • Coordinate and/or participate in trade shows and marketing/sales seminars.

This job might be for you if:

EDUCATION:

  • Four (4) year college degree required or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years sales experience required
  • Two years technical experience preferred, but not required

REQUIREMENTS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A solid understanding of HVAC, access or other building or electronic control systems
