Reporting to the Marketing Manager Factory Automation, you will play an instrumental role in defining and leading the sales process, poising it for future growth. You will identify select and develop new business opportunities within the Industrial PC IPC portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • The Business Developer is responsible for driving sales by developing client relationships with new and existing clients that will lead to new business, creating strategies to penetrate targeted vertical markets and build strong relationships with the Regional Sales organization and Channel Partners 
  • Your understanding of our value added service offerings are paramount in partnering with clients to further understand their needs in order to provide them with a technical consultative solution 
  • You will be passionate about exceeding customer expectations and working with a sense of urgency 
  • Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Identify, Qualify, Develop and Maintain a pipeline of opportunities sufficient to meet organizational goals including Orders Targets 
  • Create and implement a plan for using corporate, regional, local and global marketing programs for lead development 
  • Effectively anticipating and assessing clients' needs in order to provide effective consultation 
  • Perform strategic account reviews with team to identify and target specific opportunities 
  • Developing and preparing business proposals 
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline within our CRM system and/or other internal systems and create forecasts and gap closing analysis 
  • Stays well informed on industry changes, participates where possible in professional organizations directly involved with our target market segments and continually works to improve sales techniques and knowledge
Requirements

Qualifications

  • 3 - 7 years of previous IPC Sales, Business Development experience 
  • Solid understanding of IPC technology pertaining to industrial and information technology IT fields 
  • Experience with Automation Products, PLC, HMI, SCADA and Industrial Networking 
  • Bachelor degree or diploma in engineering or technical disciplines preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written 
  • Bilingual English and French preferred
