Responsibilities:
- Offer support in the areas of accounts receivable, account payable, cost accounting, tax, research and development, internal audit, consolidation accounting, and/or project accounting.
- Maintain databases, record journal entries, reconcile accounts, document accounting processes, file, and analyze financial data.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an Accounting or Finance degree program
- Minimum 1 year commitment to internship (part time during school year and full time during the summer)
- Word processing, Excel, and database expertise
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Interest in personal development and growth opportunities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Negative drug test result(s)
- Background results satisfactory to SEL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with computerized accounting systems
- Experience with financial analysis
