Based at the Valley Forge, PA facility, the Web Analyst/Developer will be responsible for maintaining Megger's Internet Web Sites and Intranet Portal.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
- Develop user maintenance administration interface tool (CMS) on Intranet using ASP.
- Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
- Develop or implement procedures for ongoing web site revision. Design, build, or maintain web sites and web applications.
- Design databases that support web applications and web sites.
- Perform or direct web site updates.
- Write, design, or edit web page content, and direct end-users producing content.
- Back up files from web sites to network directories.
- Establish appropriate server directory trees.
- Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
- Identify or maintain links to and from other web sites and check links to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Specific Technical Responsibilities:
- JQuery/JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- PHP and ASP
- MySQL and MS SQL
- IIS
- Dreamweaver
- E-Commerce
Minimum Skill Sets and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5 years of work related experience.
- Previous experience with SAP.
- Comfortable working with both back-end and front-end development.
- Able to work with databases MySQL and MSSQL.
- Experience developing in ASP, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Knowledge in converting Photoshop designs to front-end code.
