Description

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

  • Improve business systems and the underlying data by studying current practices and designing modifications
  • Assess work flows and technology to determine where improvements can be made
  • Research requirements and develop documentation to describe the necessary improvements
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Requirements

Desirable Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to synthesize data into coherent information
  • Ability to problem solve and create alternatives
  • Ability to conduct meetings and elicit responses from attendees

Required Education/Experience

  • Candidate must have 3+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience
  • Candidate must have 3+ years of experience with Microsoft's office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Candidate must have 3+ years of GIS software experience with Esri products
  • Candidate must have a four year college degree in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering, GIS, etc.)

Desired Education/Experience

  • Prior experience with electric utility GIS systems and related business systems and data is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with Microsoft .NET technology and Team Foundation Server (TFS) is preferred
