Description
The HSE Administrator is an integral part of the HSE team providing assistance to the HSE function as a whole. The candidate will assist the projects as well as the Business Unit's Health, Safety and Environment department in all clerical and administrative functions and will work together with the Corporate HSE Administrative team to support the organizational goals of the Safety department.

Must be local to Fort Mcmurray.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Administrative assistance for the Business Unit HSE department
  • Attend and maintain meeting minutes and action logs during safety meetings
  • Participate in the preparation and distribution of all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required
  • Maintain safety program database management as it relates to the Business Unit
  • Administration of the HSE recognition program in conjunction with Corporate administrative department
  • Liaise with the Corporate HSE Administrative team to ensure continuity, application and execution of the Willbros Canada HSE Management System
  • Provide HSE administrative training and support to project administrative personnel.
  • Assist as required with HSE related sections of prequalification and bid proposals
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Education:

  • Health & Safety Administrator designation
  • Post- secondary education in a related field considered an asset
  • NSA or NCSO designation considered an asset

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a professional environment 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Attention to detail with excellent writing/editing skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, various software applications and web-based safety registries such as ISNetworld, Canqual, and Complyworks.
  • A self-starter requiring minimal supervision with the ability to multi-task and define priorities.
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
