Description
Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Specific Job Description
- Software engineering activities to support Lockheed Martin (LM) Canada's Electronic Warfare (EW) web-based database product Coronis®.
- The engineering lifecycle, including specification, design, development, integration and test, deployment and field trouble-shooting
- The preparation of specifications, design documents and detailed engineering reports
- Functions in a multi-disciplined team environment. Duties to include:
- Collaborating on software design activities and supporting reviews
- Documenting the analysis, design and tests in accordance with development standards
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
- One to three years of relevant experience in software development
Essential:
- Proficient in C# with good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and ASP.NET
- Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST)
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience in writing reusable C# libraries
- Proficient with software versioning tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework
Desired:
- Experience with OpenLayers.js, D3.js, three.js, bootstrap.css
