Description
This is a senior financial analyst position supporting the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities of the F-35 CBT team within the DOEM (Defense Original Equipment Manufacturing) Business Team (CBT). Responsibilities include coordination, consolidation and analysis of the business forecasts within the CBT related to both the P&L and business working capital for Short Range Outlooks (SRO), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Plan (STRAP) and yearly forecasts (4+8, 7+5). More specifically this position is responsible for coordinating, analyzing and consolidating the work of programs analysts and business leaders to meet all reporting requirements to Defense and Space (D&S) FPA including forecast uploads, monthly variance analysis and presentations to D&S leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Five plus years related accounting/financial analysis experience
- Must be US Citizen due to contractual requirements (No Dual Citizenship Allowed)
Additional Qualifications:
- Public Accounting / CPA, a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting, business theory and principles, analysis and systems
- Strong PC skills using MS Office products
- Knowledge of SAP ERP a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to present and articulate financial issues to various levels of management in an effective manner
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Adept at prioritizing work and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in the work environment to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
