Tridium's Product team is looking for an experienced, energetic, and innovative Senior Software Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Be a part of Tridium's world class team of software engineers as we advance Tridium's position as a market leader in open systems and software, forming the foundation of the Internet of Things
- Participate in the design and implementation of Tridium's next generation Cloud PaaS/SaaS software technology
- Handle support inquiries escalated from internal technical support group
- Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a software related discipline, from an accredited college or university plus 7 years of experience as a professional software engineer
- If no degree, 9 years of experience as a professional software engineer with 5 years of relevant experience in Cloud PaaS/SaaS technologies
- 3 years as a technical leader in a software engineering organization
- Must have experience with creating web services that can run in a high availability Cloud environment that can easily be monitored
- Must have experience developing Web Applications
- Experience with RESTful Web Service Design
- Demonstrated problem solving skills. Must have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems
Additional Qualifications:
- Java development experience
- Master's degree in a related field is an added plus
- Experience with Azure, AWS or other Cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environments
- UI Design experience
- Experience with Big Data and real-time analytics
- Demonstrated understanding of Object/Component Oriented Design techniques
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
- Experience with Test Driven Design
