ISC America's Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Americas Electronic Service Center

The position located at Honeywell Urbana facility reporting to the R&O Site Leader and AESC Quality Director. This position is responsible for driving strategic quality initiatives while working directly with both internal/external customers. This position will drive systemic improvement throughout the AESC organization. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer has the responsibility to identify opportunities and provide leadership to make quality a competitive advantage for the Americas Electronic Services Center organization and its customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use data to identify / measure quality improvement opportunities. Knowledge in the following areas would differentiate a successful candidate: Aviation electronics, Engineering, Repair and Overhaul (R&O), SAP, Excel, FOCUS, Minitab.
- Program Manage (PM) multi-site quality improvement efforts. Formal PM Certification would differentiate a successful candidate.
- Develop operating systems or metrics to drive organizational improvements.
- Serve as HOS leader for the service center. Utilize enablers such as Honeywell Operating Systems, lean/six sigma, to identify best practices and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization
- Prepare and present metrics associated with quality trends and related improvements. Prepare progress reports, program reviews as needed.
- Ability to think strategically and critically analyze details.
- Capable of consistently taking the initiative to get things accomplished
- Provide Quality Engineering support to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, government regulations, customer requirements, and company policies and procedures.
- Ability to solicit all facts and input from team members, and create a constructive and open environment for sharing data
- Bachelor's Degree; or technical discipline
- 3+ years of previous experience in Quality, Engineering and/or Operations.
- In lieu of degree will consider 5 years + of the same experience
- Greenbelt certification. Black Belt or Lean Expert certification would differentiate the successful candidate

- Lean Expert or Black Belt Certification preferred
- ASQ certification preferred (CQE - certified quality engineer or CQM - certified quality manager)
