Description
- Licensed Professional Engineer by exam
- Five (5) years experience in operation, maintenance, or design related in the electrical field
- Exposure to Electrical Engineering Computer Software such as CDEGS, AutoCAD, Microstation, ETAP, and SKM
Requirements
- Create detailed control schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection logic drawings.
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and systems including oneline/three-line diagrams
- Oneline/Three-line diagrams
- Familiarity with digital micro-processor relays; (SEL, GE, Basler, Beckwith, ABB, etc)
- Protective relaying settings and calculations
- Substation design
- Understanding of electrical construction methods and materials
- Grounding design and grounding studies
- Equipment procurement including equipment specifications, bid evaluation, Cost estimating, vendor drawing review
- Proposal process including development of project scopes, budgets and schedules
- Field engineering / construction support
- Ability to support system operations during outages and emergencies with analysis of fault data and relay sequence of operations review.
- Knowledge of engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI
