Description
Employees in this role operate and maintain transmission, substation, and collection systems, and are responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to the power grid.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Under limited supervision:
- Performs routine operational testing and relay interrogation
- Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair activities
- Provides trouble-shooting of unplanned outages and supports restoration
- Reviews commissioning records and witness operational checks at new sites
- Leads multifunctional efforts to ensure assets are operated correctly and meet regulatory compliance
- Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience:3+ years
Preferred Qualification
- Associate's Degree
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Bachelor's Degree
