Key Responsibilities:
- Automated Systems development & adoption.
- Develop, implement and enforce automation solutions by working closely with the engineering systems, engineering and operation teams.
- Document and maintain automation design documentation and make sure all teams are using the correct revisions.
- Develop and improve workflows and CAD processes to accommodate various group's needs, improve efficiency, or improve communication.
- Must be able to document and communicate training materials and work instructions.
- Provide production CAD support.
- Responsible for assisting in support of Price CAD software including Solid Edge, AutoCAD, and in house developed engineering tools.
- Serve as super user for Price Group of Companies engineering teams.
- Work with engineering systems team to organize and implement installations, upgrades and subsequent training for all CAD users.
- Working with engineering and business systems teams to provide solutions for our corporate engineering systems.
- Responsible for assisting automated CAD systems lead in coordinating engineering automation requirements for strategic planning.
- Responsible for assisting in automation projects to reduce costs and time related to current design processes.
Requirements
- B.S / technology diploma in mechanical engineering, or B.S / technology diploma in computer science, information technology, or computer engineering preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in product design and development.
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in .net application development.
- CAD automation experience is considered an major asset.
- Manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
- Experience supporting technical users over multi formats of communication (Email, Phone, Go to Meeting, and In-person).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information.
