Description
Under the direction and leadership of the Director, Cybersecurity we are seeking a full-time permanent Manager, Cybersecurity Technology to join our Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) department in Edmonton, Alberta. The Manager, Cybersecurity is responsible for the management and consultative oversight of a variety of highly technical Cybersecurity deliverables, ensuring that best practices and operational effectiveness is achieved by ATCO's providers in the delivery of their IT and Operational Technology services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting the GRC team while providing management oversight of service provider by ensuring proper design, operations, and reporting of Cybersecurity Incident Response, Logging and monitoring, IDS (Intrusion Detection), IPS (Intrusion prevention) systems throughout the ATCO environment.
- Reviewing the Quality and completeness of Vulnerability Assessment configurations, outputs, and the effective remediation of findings.
- Performing cybersecurity investigations and inspections to assess risk validate incidents, breaches.
- Perform quality control of IT and OT technologies to confirm compliance within the ATCO technology environment.
- Conducting Cybersecurity forensic investigations while interfacing with the ATCO user community to gather evidence and providing senior consultative guidance to ATCO management.
- Enhancing and Managing the Cybersecurity Incident Response plan by integrating business and technology service providers and ensuring adequate SLA's, escalation procedures, communications, detection, containment , and recovery mechanisms are operationally effective.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Business, Science or related discipline with a focus on IT or IT-risk related disciplines (i.e. Cybersecurity, privacy, business continuity management, compliance)
- 10+ years of professional experience and training in one or more areas of Cybersecurity specialization and can autonomously manage and operate a Cybersecurity area of specialization
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CEH Certification
- Experience in performing risk assessments, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Experience in performing investigations and coordinating Cybersecurity Incident Response
- Experience writing policies, frameworks and standards
- Experience in interfacing with Senior management and external resources
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within both the business and technical arenas
- Strong risk management and consulting background, with a demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, respond to change, and solve problems
- Strong project management and budget management skills
- Well-developed analytical skills accompanied by proven decision-making experience
