The FLIR Corporate Sales Tax department is seeking a team player to assist with multi-state sales & use tax preparation, for multiple legal entities. Review & maintenance of multi-state use tax accruals, reconciliations and special projects.
Detailed Description:
- Assist with monthly SAP & Vertex revenue reconciliations
- Assist with monthly sale tax liability, use tax accruals & reconciliations
- Assist with maintenance of sales tax exemption certificates via Vertex & Cert Capture
- Work with A/R reconciling sales tax adjustments
- Provide tax support to customers internal and external
- Research of sales and use tax issues via Riacheckpoint and State websites
- Processing of tax payments via Dolphin
- Assist with additional projects as required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance, or Associates + 2 years of experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel
- Strong work ethic, one who takes initiate and ownership of work
- Analytical and Curious minded, willing to make the extra effort to resolve issues
- Ability to compute figures rapidly and accurately
- Efficient in time management with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Prior experience working with sales tax or accounts payable is a plus
- Familiarity with SAP, Vertex O Series & Indirect Tax Returns, Cert Capture & Dolphin a plus
