You will be a strategic partner for ENMAX Power Corporation's (EPC) largest customers by working to understand and plan their future electricity needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and determine the future development of the EPC Distribution and Network system that align with both the customer and company needs
- Perform load flow analysis to identify system capacity requirements and develop scopes of work
- Advise on system investment criteria and seek approval for the execution of customer driven system growth projects
- Participate in the customer connection process by providing direction for large customer system connections
- Accountable for project oversight which includes reviewing changes to system scope, obtaining appropriate approvals, and monitoring/reporting on project progress
- Develop, improve, and maintain Customer Planning standards, procedures, processes or guidelines
- Produce and maintain long term plans for the addition of large customers and developments
- Support Key Accounts in developing and maintaining customer account plans by assessing customer load and system infrastructure requirements
- Assist with managing and forecasting capital budgets
- Supporting the System Development Cycle deliverables including:
- Load forecast
- Project justification
- System development plan
Education:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- P.Eng status with The Association of Professionals in Engineering and Geoscientists in Alberta (APEGA).
Qualifications:
- 4 + years' experience with an electric utility
- Sound engineering and operational knowledge of distribution utility systems
- Background in Planning principles and Distribution/Network system assessment
- Project Management skills with a good understanding of project scope, cost and schedules
- Strong understanding of load flow analysis. Experience using Cymdist is considered an asset.

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a wide variety of issues and multiple projects
