Argus Emissions Market 2017

Organization:
Argus
Location:
Prague 1, Czech Republic, Czech Republic
Start Date:
February 28, 2017
End Date:
March 2, 2017
Description
Argus Emissions Markets 2017 is a meeting place for the global emissions market and this year the event will examine upcoming amendments to the EU ETS and emerging opportunities across international markets.

Taking place on the same day that the European Council will resume discussions on the EU ETS reform proposal, 28 February, we expect key legislative reforms aimed at enhancing the EU emissions trading scheme (EU ETS) to make the conference's lively exchange especially pertinent at this year's Argus Emissions Markets.

Join Ian Duncan, Rapporteur of the EU ETS and MEP, the European Commission, Lufthansa, HeidelbergCement, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) China, CEZ, Commerzbank, BP, SinoCarbon and other industry leaders, compliance buyers, global experts, regulators and market facilitators in a discussion on the development of emissions trading systems and climate finance.

A new "industry and energy sector professionals" stream, explores funding, technology and carbon reduction tactics, and will address the wider challenges regulated emitters face.

The new Finance Focus Day on 2 March will see banks, insurers, and institutes assess strategies to mitigate the risks associated with the low-carbon drive.

Do not miss the opportunity to learn from and network with the world's carbon community on 28 February to 2 March 2017.

And this year small emitters qualify for a saving of up to €960 with the new SME rate year. Visit the website for further information.
